Our Story
Homer Helpers started the old-fashioned way: we walked door to door in our neighborhoods, knocked, and asked if anyone needed help. No website, no ads — just a handshake and a willingness to work hard.
In 2023, Jack, Coda, and Bernie formalized what they'd been doing informally — helping neighbors move, clear out garages, shovel driveways after big storms. They saw a need in Homer for a reliable, affordable, locally-owned labor company that actually cared about the people it served.
Homer is a special community. It's small enough that everyone knows everyone, and that means your reputation is everything. We built Homer Helpers on the simple idea that if we do great work for great people, word will spread — and it has. Over 300 jobs later, that's still how we operate.
